Christian Dior chief designer John Galliano stood trial in a Parisian court on Wednesday for anti-semitic slurs at a Parisian cafe.

The French fashion house sacked its chief designer after a footage leaked online featuring an intoxicated Galliano outspeaking his love for Hitler and abusing two presumedly Jewish young ladies. The Christian Dior muse blamed his addiction to alcohol and sleeping pills for the misconduct which got him a good stint in rehab. Anti-semitic expressions in France are punishable of 6 months in prison and up to a $30,000 fine.
