Better famous and admired for her vocal performance and dancing talent, Colombian pop world star Shakira has got another hidden face. She’s actively engaged, along with a bunch of Ibero-American celebrities called ALAS (“wings” in Spanish) to mobilise fans and politicians to advance early-childhood development in Latin American countries. ALAS’s philanthropic efforts focus on providing better childhood nuitition, education and medical care.
